MEET THE OWNER
VIJI PRADEEP KODUVATH MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Viji Pradeep Koduvath is a highly skilled and compassionate board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 4 years of clinical experience in family medicine and nearly 13 years of extensive critical care nursing expertise. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Medicine from Texas Woman’s University in 2015, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, India in 2002. She is currently pursuing a doctoral fellowship to further expand her academic and professional horizons.
Ms. Koduvath began her nursing career in India, where she spent three years at the prestigious Escort Heart Institute and Research Centre, one of Asia’s leading cardiothoracic hospitals. There, she worked as a Registered Nurse in a high-pressure environment, honing her skills in critical care. She served in various capacities, including as a nurse educator, team lead, and a member of the emergency air call team, which responded to critical medical situations.
In 2006, Ms. Koduvath moved to the United States and embarked on a new chapter in her career, starting as a critical care RN at Cedars Medical Center, a renowned University of Miami-affiliated hospital. A year later, she relocated to Texas following her marriage to her supportive husband, Mr. Pradeep Koduvath, and began working at UT Southwestern Medical Center, now Clements University Hospital. Her roles there included charge nurse and critical care nurse across multiple acute care units. One of her notable achievements was serving as the decommissioner of the ICU during the hospital’s transition to its new state-of-the-art facility, a role that showcased her leadership and adaptability.
Upon completing her MSN in Family Medicine in 2015, Ms. Koduvath transitioned to the role of Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), focusing on neurology. Currently, she serves as a Nurse Practitioner in General Neurology, where she brings her expertise to managing complex cases, including neuropathic pain and primary headache disorders. Her dedication to patient care, coupled with her clinical acumen, has earned her widespread recognition, including the prestigious Meritorious Service Award at UT Southwestern for her exemplary service and contributions.
Ms. Koduvath is a proud member of several leading professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Texas Nurse Practitioners Association, reflecting her commitment to professional growth and staying at the forefront of healthcare advancements.
